What is MitoPhor?
MitoPhor is an endogenous autofluorescence¹ based on a narrow blue wavelength excitation and narrow wavelength green emission. Preclinical studies² have shown that human RPE, when oxidized, is susceptible to green emission when stimulated with blue light. Our devices are designed to explore this endogenous phenomenon.
